Air-Bag Safety 101.

Air-bags are a very well-known car safety feature that has won the hearts of some and the fear of others. There is a common misconception that instead of air-bags helping to keep the occupants within a car safe it is actually more of a hazard. This could not be further from the truth unless this topic was in reference to children thirteen and younger who do not have sufficient weight or size to accomodate such a powerful force.

Air-bags have been known to cause some injuries due to a passenger or driver sitting too close to the air-bag upon impact, but generally if the occupants of the vehicle are sitting correctly and they have properly applied their safety belt then there are usually never any problems.

Another strange myth about air-bags is the thought that after deployed they can be deployed multiple times--this is wrong. Air-bags are a "one-hit-wonder" so to speak. After the crash, or cause of deployment, strikes and the air-bags are engaged they are then non-reusable unless you take them to an air-bag repair service shop or you go visit your local Lawrenceberg  Chevy  dealer or Terry Lee Honda en route to find a new vehicle.

Thanks to the modern-day expanding technology we are able to branch out and provide consmers with even more and more safety features that excentuate passengers and drivers safety both on the road, and off of it.
After taking into account of all possible air-bags on a car remember that there can always be: frontal air-bags and side-impact air bags. While frontal air-bags are required the side-impact air-bags and advanced air-bag system does not always apply to each car. So be aware, be alert, but most of all--be safe!

Safety Features on Vehicles.

As most people may know, accidents happen. Some of these accidents occur while in a car. Known to be often dangerous if not fatal car wrecks have ruined lives and ended some. However, thanks to the governments safety crash rating system we have been able to hammer out the cars who are more likely to aid to your death or keep you protected.

All car dealers such as Terry Lee and Doug Henry understand that by owning a car the car-owner may have some expectations of it when and if it ever encountered or became part of a wreck. With this realization taken into account large companies such as Honda, Toyota, and Ford have long ago established safety features into their cars to better protect and suit their consumers.

Such features have been known to be listed as air-bags, anti-lock braking system, tire protection as well as rollover tires. All of these features, as well as many others, have been tested and applied as best as possible to ensure the consumers trust as well as gain their appreciation.

While these safety features have been realeased they haven't all been promised in each car so as a consumer check your possible  new car's safety score results. Don't settle for less then you deserve, be safe and drive carefully!
